Bespoke journey planning
South Africa is a land of untouched wilderness. Lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo move freely through ancient landscapes, protected in private reserves far from the classic tourist routes. MIRA KODA opens exclusive access to the most sought-after reserves in the region, from the acacia plains on the edge of Kruger National Park to the riverine forests of KwaZulu Natal.

The dry season from May to September is considered the best time to travel. Wildlife gathers at the waterholes and is easier to spot.
Private reserves limit the number of vehicles per sighting. Rangers may drive off-road, and night drives and walking safaris are possible.
For a first visit we recommend at least four to five nights in one reserve, so there is enough time for several game drives.
Yes, on request we combine your safari days individually with an extension to Cape Town and the Winelands.
For tourist stays, most European nationals do not require a visa. Malaria prophylaxis is recommended for the Kruger region, while Cape Town and the Winelands are considered malaria free. We recommend confirming the current requirements with a travel physician before departure.
