Bespoke journey planning
Africa is more than a safari. Private reserves by Kruger, the water labyrinth of the Okavango Delta, the red dunes of the Namib, the open plains of the Masai Mara and the mountain gorillas in Uganda's rainforest. MIRA KODA brings them together into your journey, from honest tented camps to iconic lodges, and if you wish with a week by the sea in the Seychelles.

For South Africa, Botswana and Namibia, May to October are the best safari months. In Kenya the great migration moves through the Masai Mara from July to October, in Uganda June to September and December to February are driest. Cape Town and the Seychelles round off the journey in the other months.

Yes. Proven combinations are Uganda with Kenya, Botswana with Victoria Falls, South Africa with Namibia and any safari with a week in the Seychelles. We plan flights and connections so that no day is lost in transit.
The walk through the rainforest takes one to several hours depending on the group, often steep and damp. Normal fitness is enough, porters help with your bags. The minimum age is 15.
German citizens need no visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days in South Africa and Botswana. Namibia has required a visa since April 2025, Kenya an electronic travel authorisation and Uganda an e-visa in advance, plus proof of yellow fever vaccination. Malaria prophylaxis is recommended for most safari regions. We check the current rules before you book, please discuss health matters with a travel doctor.
